Page Law recognized as an outstanding Plaintiff Law Firm sponsors the Transportation Area of Child Safety Day on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at The Pageant from 10:00am-2:00pm for the second consecutive year.
Reports from the National Transportation Highway Safety Administration, American Motorist Association and MADD say that Missouri ranks number 2 in the United States for having the worst drivers. This compiled report says that Missouri drivers have a high propensity to be careless, drive while intoxicated and disobey traffic laws.
As an advocate of children, Page Law works to educate families about the risk of texting/cellular phone usage while driving, the negative impact of drunken driving driving and how traffic laws save lives. As an example of one of the activities in the Page Law Transportation Area is the Missouri Highway Patrol Seat Belt Convincer. This 5 m.p.h. ride demonstrates the potential danger of riding in a vehicle without a seatbelt.
